The library is located on the 2nd floor of the School’s building. Students may use the library, the equipment and services for their academic education and research, but also for general information purposes. The library collection includes 5,700 printed books, 40 academic journal titles, audiovisual material, BA and MA dissertations as well as PhD Theses, and electronic resources and databases.

The AUTh Library was founded in 1925 and began operating in 1927. Initially housed in the old School of Philosophy building, it moved to its own four-storey premises in the heart of the university campus in 1974. The new Central Library building was inaugurated in 2000.The central library of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki hosts more than 1.000.000 books, over 3.000 scientific journals, around 450.000 e-books, and audiovisual material. It provides free access to all major electronic sources and databases.
