Associate Professor, BA (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece), MA (University of Leeds, UK), PhD (University of Leeds, UK). She teaches and researches journalism and new media, communication and journalism for development and social change, the interaction between media and foreign policy, European media, communication and journalism for development and environmental communication. She has contributed to various research papers in journals, refereed conference proceedings and authored chapters in books. She has participated in several international scientific conferences, meetings, collaborations, and research programs in the field of Communication and Journalism. She is a member of the European Sociological Association (ESA) and a certified trainer for adult education. She has been trained on intercultural communication and refugee education and she is a trainer on related issues for several public and private organizations.
