Teaching Fellow BA (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece), MA, PhD (University of Essex, UK). She is a linguist and her main research interests are syntax, semantics (Lexical Functional Grammar & Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar), pragmatics, sociolinguistics, computational linguistics, discourse analysis, gender, language and the media and English as a Second Language. She teaches courses on Academic Writing, English for Specific Purposes, Gender and Language in the Media and, the Language of Propaganda in the Media. She has previously taught in the UK in various Colleges/Universities. She is a member of the International Lexical Functional Grammar Association (ILFGA) and the Linguistic Association of Great Britain (LAGB). She has participated in several research projects, collaborations, conferences on Syntax, Semantics and English Language Teaching. She is also a reviewer in several online journals.
