Tina - Mauritius (Mauritius) Adamou is a Professor of Political Science at the Department of Political Science, Hofstra University, New York (2005-2008, 2010-present) and since September 2019 has been Professor of Political Science and European Studies at the American College of Thessaloniki (1996). -2004, 1989-1993). She graduated from New York University (1983, Politics) and completed her postgraduate studies in Political Science at the New School (New School of Social Research, N.Y., 1987). She received her PhD in Political Sociology from the University of Edinburgh (1996) and continued her postdoctoral studies at the University of Athens (1997-1998). She has also taught in the Department of Political Science at Colgate University in New York (2008-2010) and Adelphi (2005-2008, 2010) as well as at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki (1998) in International Relations, Comparative Politics, American Politics / Political theory / Liberal Arts. She has published extensively in international scientific journals and international collective volumes and is a member of the International Studies Association, Association for the Study of Nationalities, Institute for International Education, Modern Greek Studies Association and the Hellenic Society of Political Science. Since 2010 she is a member of the Evaluation Committee for Research and Funding of Heraclitus II, Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religions.
